Let’s Have a Calorie Counting Day

Well it’s a rainy Tuesday afternoon that inspires neither healthy eating or exercise, in fact, it is the perfect day to snuggle up with a good book, a cup of strong coffee and something deliciously wicked in the form of pastry or cake.

But in lieu of the above, I present to you my daily food and exercise diary:

Food:

Breakfast = All-Bran Breakfast Biscuit(TM) – 167 kcal

Snack = Small granny smith apple – 50 kcal

Lunch = Stuffed fresh pasta with low-fat pesto – 520 kcal

Snack = Tube of smarties – 178 kcal

Dinner = Rosemary and garlic chicken breast with peas and sweetcorn – 400 kcal

Total kcals = 1315

Exercise:

45 minute circuit training in the gym including sprints, arm exercises, stomach exercises and leg exercises.

As you can see, it is not the most exciting day of the 21lb Challenge, but tomorrow is another day, and there is less than two weeks left until going on holiday!
