Swimming has many health benefits in addition to just burning calories, let’s take a look…

Depending on which stroke you do, how fast you swim and how much you weigh, you can burn anything between 60 and 150 calories every 10 minutes!

Swimming is a great exercise if you have any problems with your joints as it is low-impact – no pounding knees or ankles!

Swimming forces you to focus on your breathing which can help with respiratory problems

No other exercise uses this many muscles in one sitting – you arms, back, stomach, thighs – they all get a workout, especially if you switch up your stroke between front crawl, breaststroke and backstroke!
